To add a student to the class, go to your class and click on "Add new user" in the upper right corner of the Dashboard.
There are two types of students you can add to your class:
students who already have a SOWISO account
students who don't have a SOWISO account yet
Adding students who already have a SOWISO account
On the left side of the screen, under "Add user manually", use the search bar to look for the student name. Click on "Add" to add the student to your class.
If you would like to add a big group of students who already have an account, and you don't want to look for each of them individually, you can use the short access code instead.
On the right side of the screen, under "add user with access code", copy the short access code and share it with your students:

Adding students who don't have a SOWISO account yet
To invite new students to SOWISO, use the access code. Access codes are unique per class, and they will differ depending on how your school is accessing SOWISO:
via the browser/cloud
via SURFconext integration*
via LMS integration* (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, etc)
*SURFconext and LMS integration can't exist at the same time, so you will have only one of these links available.
❗ It's important that you use only one of these links, to avoid having some students with an LMS account and others with a cloud account, for example.
If there is no access code yet, you can generate one by clicking on "Generate".
It's also possible to generate an access code per group. If you would like to do that, be sure to create groups before you start inviting your students. When students create their accounts, they will be added to the correct class, and to the specific group you invited them to.
You can deactivate an access code by clicking "Remove". This action won't delete the class nor remove students from it, it will only disable the previous access code.
