You might have noticed that some students have badges displayed next to their names. This can be seen, for example, in forum posts:
How to earn badges?
Badges can be earned for important three different types of tasks. Examples are:
Learning tasks. For example: Solve 20 questions with one mistake or less, or Solve 5 questions in under 150 seconds.
Peer-to-peer learning tasks. For example: Answer 5 questions on the forum, or Get 1 of your answers marked on the forum.
Informal tasks. For example: Log in on Pi Day, or Solve questions on seven different days.
Each achievement badge has three levels: bronze, silver, and gold. There are also hidden badges, and if you win them they will be displayed in purple.
How to display your badges?
When you earn a badge, you can choose to display it next to your name. You can display up to three badges. To set this up, go to your Profile, and click on Manage badges.
Here you can see all the available badges and choose the three that you want to display.
